Spiro Koumoulas B. Surv
Spiro is the principal and director of the Learning Edge, a firm specializing in developing student learning strategies, confidence and motivation to succeed.
His earlier career was as an engineering Surveyor having worked on the Darling Harbour Project and was one of a handful of Surveyors to be involved in the introduction of the Global Positioning Systems (G.P.S) Now found in todays’ luxury cars.
Spiro entered the human potential field in 1991 and started the “Learning Edge” which he says put the excitement back into learning for children and adults. He has researched the world over for the most effective and cutting edge tools and techniques for learning which are sadly missed at school.
He has applied these tools in the Corporate world where business leaders recognize the importance of quickly learning and consolidating huge amounts of information, from futures traders or corporate culture programmes, Spiro’s strategies are making a huge difference. Kids especially need these strategies in order to get ahead and feel confident studying. Over the years, he has helped thousands of students not only succeed in their studies but even more importantly feel good about the journey and be confident in themselves. Whether he is coaching individuals or presenting seminars the students always feel energized, eager and enthused to learn.
He was awarded a Bachelor of Engineering Surveying by the University of NSW and he is a certified trainer in Neuro Linguistics.( NLP )
Patricia Koumoulas
Patricia is a qualified school teacher with a passion for teaching and transferring the joy of learning to children. As a teacher she has a unique ability to sense student styles of learning and adjust to suit their learning style so understanding is captured. She is also the administrative and Business manager who organizes and coordinates the outstanding Learning on the Edge seminars. As a mother she knows that kids are not always enthused to study unless there is a better way to do it. Doing it better and teaching more effectively is her passion.
She was awarded a Bachelor of Education from Macquarie University.
